The Wild Swans is up and available for purchase! I am really excited to hear what you have to say about it, Champions, especially the ending! As usual I’m forcing myself to wait two days to give you a chance to read it before I start spouting off book facts and background info. (So PLEASE READ FAST!!!)
Cinderella is coming along, I daresay I almost have a fourth of it written. Beyond that, the weather is crummy and Perfect Dog has displaced me from my bathroom. She has declared it her snooze zone and gives me a dirty look whenever I turn on the light in there.
I really hope you enjoy Wild Swans, and I’m anxious to hear what you have to say about it. Until Wednesday, take care, Champions!
I’m so happy to find out that this novel was influenced by otome games since I thought the ending was just like an otome game route. I really love your books and this one is one of my favorites! I leaned towards Rune more but Falk is highly appealing too. AH! I am glad there are two different endings to choose from!
I’m glad you liked it! It is funny how cultural aspects–like Otome games–can influence you and your work. (It was unconscious this time, but I have noticed it on other occasions.)
Oohh I hope your paper writing goes well, ljpaul! I will confess, I am a Rune fan. But I’ll also freely admit that I’m not completely loyal to his cause. (Shhhh, don’t tell him, but I think Elise and Falk essentially ruling the economic world is highly appealing!)
I bought the book on Monday and read it on Monday. In was going to hold out and use it as a reward for writing the 30 page paper. But….. I really loved it. I think giving me a choice was a great idea until I read both endings. Then I could not decide which I liked better since both had their positives. Thanks for the great read. Now I just need to get the paper written.
I agree….and yet, I had fun reading both endings. Although I knew which one I preferred. 🙂
This comment will contain some spoilers. Ok I stayed up all night reading this book. I was really excited, I read the sample in the Beauty and the Beast book and I loved the idea. It didn’t disappoint except for the end. I would have loved for you to pick one, I would have loved to know which one you preferred as it is your story. Or for me it would have been better open ended and let my imagination make the ending if it makes sense. I will read it again slowly this time reading in between the lines to see which brother you prefer in the story.
