After seven difficult rounds that pitted secondary characters from all my books against each other, we have the final round. This round contains the winners from all the previous heats.
The rules are as follows: You have one ballot and can vote for up to four characters when you cast your ballot. The character with the highest number of votes, wins the title of the most beloved secondary character out of all K. M. Shea books. The poll opens today, and runs through September 10th. Share the word and tell everyone you know, because this is the fight to end all fights!
To make it easier to vote, each character is listed with a brief description and are tagged by the book/series they belong to. (They are, however, not listed in any particular order and will actually change every time you refresh your screen. We have to keep things fair, yes?)
And that’s everything. Hang on, Champions, we’re in for one heck-of-a ride!
Oh my gosh this was so so soooo hard. I also had to do process of elimination, and I feel so bad because some of my absolute favorites are at the bottom 😭
So sad king arthurs is over! Wish to see the whole series from merlins point of view! Its so hard to vote because i basically love all the characters!
Too many! It was so hard. And I didn’t even see some of the entries. Supper fun contest.
Yeah, I decided to include the little descriptions as well because otherwise the list would be reaaaally hard to keep straight! I suppose next time I do this I could try to limit it to two characters from each round? (That seems pretty tough, though)
Now I’m going to be so upset if one of my favorites (other than Puss) doesn’t make it to the top… 🙁
Yes! My favorite secondary characters ever are at the top! (And, hopefully, will stay there…;) )
Yes, I will admit if Puss doesn’t stay in the top 4, I might have to take a sick day. 😉 (He’s probably my favorite character I’ve ever written because he’s so dang funny–though I really love Cagney and Dooley for that same reason.)
Cagney and Dooley and Puss are where I thought they’d be. Though I wanted Seer Ringali higher. How can you not love Seer Ringali?! He is so very entertaining and sarcastic 🙂
Why did you have to make it so haard? I mean, some of the characters that got onto this list had no help from me, but I still LOVE them. I literally had to make a list and gradually eliminate to vote.
But its ok, it was SO fun 🙂
Hahahah, that’s great that you had to go by process of elimination! I decided that I would not cast a vote in this final round, but I have to confess it’s not because I wanted the results to be purely you guys and is really more because I had no idea how to choose just four. 😉
