Hello Champions, this post is just a gentle reminder about the Halloween themed short story I wrote a few years ago for the Magical Beings’ Rehabilitation center!
It’s called Trick or Treat, (Click here for the PDF) and it follows Morgan as she tries to survive the MBRC’s first Halloween celebration.
This was one of my favorite short stories/extras I’ve ever written. I had such a blast thinking of the various costumes the Magical Beings would think were fun/scary. So, if you haven’t read it before, now’s your chance!
Thanks for reading, Champions, and happy October!
That was perfect, Kitty! Thank you so much, and I hope you have a happy Halloween!
You’re welcome–and thank you!! I sadly won’t have as many delicious treats Morgan had, but I’m determined to make Pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting sometime in here!
Thanks Kitty! I needed the laugh!
<3 You're welcome Arletta! I'm glad it could make you laugh--you deserve it!
I actually recently read it while printing out freebies, such a joy!!
Oohhh nice thinking! 😀 I hope it made you laugh!

I love this short story!! I read that series out loud to my roommate and she loved that story, too! Now I’m going to have to read it again when I get home. Is it 5:00 yet?
Mad props to you for reading the series out loud! 😀 That is so awesome!

We had so much fun! Morgan actually sounds a lot like me, so my roommate kept asking if I was commenting, or if the statement was actually written in the book (whatever sentence was almost always in the book). We just finished the Snow Queen series this week. After I’m done with NaNoWriMo we’re going to read the Princess and the Pea and then on to the Fairytale Enchantress and Timeless Fairytale series! I’m so excited for it! I’m going to try doing accents based on the countries, so we will see how that goes.
I read this short story a while ago and loved it! Glad you’re getting in the Halloween spirit through your writing, Kitty!
PS I’m a big fan of your books and have read most of your series. You’re one of my favorite authors.
Aww, thank you Isabel! 🙂 I’m so honored!
