The day is finally here Champions! Crown of Shadows is finally available to purchase on Amazon or download and read through KU!
Get it now: Amazon.com | All other Amazon stores
As usual I’m having my Book Launch Celebration/Thank You special, so when Crown of Shadows reaches approximately 100 reviews (that’s 100 reviews total including those on all Amazon stores and Goodreads) I’ll release a bonus companion short story! If you’ve read the Hall of Blood and Mercy series (and I really hope you have!) this bonus contains some special cameos from your favorite Drake family vampires!
A big thank you in advance to everyone who takes the time to leave an honest review. Reviews help me a lot because it’s the best way other interested readers can determine if my work is something they want to try out or not. There’s also certain kinds of advertising, like some free promotion websites, that have a minimum review requirement, and you Champions help me blow past those requirements!
As usual, I’m going to hold off on any blog posts that might have spoilers for a few days to give you some time to read the story! If you are looking for some fellow readers to spill the tea with, don’t worry, there are people waiting for you to join the discussion on Facebook and Discord !!
Here’s a fun quote image for you as a bonus:
I hope you enjoy the book!
Loved the book Kitty!!! Were there any sources of inspiration you used like with Hazel’s trilogy being loosely inspired by Donkeyskin? Seriously, I loved the book and can’t wait for more!
I was wondering that too. Is this still loosely based on Donkeyskin? She does mention a few things about some amazing clothes. So,… maybe?
I am re-reading the book and all I can think about now is how someone needs to get poor Leila a French press and electric kettle so she can make her own coffee.
Dude, yes!!!
I really enjoyed the book too, but I’m really hoping that there is more to Rigel in the upcoming books than what we’ve seen so far. The description of his eyes as being dark and soulless is kind of dark for you, Kitty, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what his redeeming qualities are. The fact that he is an assassin makes him not my favorite hero. Although, I love how Leila is able to get under his skin. I also love how she is with her animals. The fact that she sees such goodness in them despite how scary they look to everyone else is fun to watch. I also love how loyal they are to her and she is to them. I’m also looking forward to seeing more of how the relationship between the Night and Day Courts will develop. I feel like there is more to the story there as well. Now I can’t wait for December 18th! It just can’t come fast enough!
Loved the book so much!! Trying to word this in such a way that it will not spoil anything for anyone but proceed with caution…
Does anyone else think that the artifact that doesn’t seem very special is actually a much bigger deal than what it appears? There is something mentioned in passing that makes me think it is much more important than it appears to be.
I totally agree. Actually, I have an idea about what it might be, but, like you, I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read it yet.
I have my theory as well. I am glad I don’t have to wait really long to find out if it is accurate. 😄
Me too!
Yes, same! I have a theory, but for the sake of spoilers . . . sigh.
I was wondering that, too.
Agreed. Kitty seems to have a penchant for all the seemingly useless things (skills, gifts, objects, people) which all play a significant role or is significant sometime in the future. Can’t wait for the second book!
Where can you get the book at to read it
I read it on my kindle, but most devices should work. Try amazon, and if you have kindle unlimited, its free!
Do you have any other suggestions besides Amazon. I did try finding it on Apple Books but they don’t have it
I think it’s only available on Amazon. Books that are in KindleUnlimited can only be published on Amazon 🙁
I checked. It’s only on amazon.
Finally!
I read the book, and I LOVE IT (Of course, I love all your books)! Just make sure not to burn yourself out between our demand for books and wanting to make us happy:)
Did someone say the Drake vampire? I want the short so badly now, I really missed them in the book. Wonderful work as always Kitty!
Second that!
