This isn’t related to any paperback news, but I sort of get the feeling Varick from The Legend of Korra and Aldebert of TFT are really similar-both annoyingly bright and a bit arrogant.

Thanks for the warning! I’ve been slowly accumulating the paperbacks and I definitely don’t want to end up with three of a different set! I am very excited for everything you have planned this summer! I know it’s going to be amazing.

Already ordered and eagerly awaiting their arrival TOMORROW!!!

I’m so looking forward to Trial of Magic. I’ll will reread the first three Angelique books and maybe Twelve Dancing Princesses and Snow White since I haven’t read them as many times as the others and therefore don’t know they quite as well as the others. (hehehe) Anyway, I’m hoping we get to see the first confrontation with the Conclave after Evariste is released from the mirror with Angel at his side. Oh, the possibilities!

I’m rereading all the books in Angel’s world in prep for ToM-so far I’ve gotten to The Little Selkie-after all of TFT comes FTE!

I’m striped excited for seeing Angelique start to drop her “serene enchantress” persona in front of the other characters, Severin, Gabrielle, Cinderella, and their significant others especially.
I’m also curious to see if other characters will notice right off the bat the nuances of Angelique and Evariste’s relationship that Angelique is still oblivious to.

Yes! Wonder what if they’ll become more friendly rather than act like they’re talking to their classmate they talk to but don’t consider a friend (i especially would like to see Finnir’s and the other mages-is that how we spell his name?-reaction to her sass-they seriously needs to warm up). . . when they hint at them being together, can’t wait to see angel’s reaction (or if she even notices the others are trying to push her and evar into a relationship) . . .

Omigosh, you have the best timing ever-The Paperbacks look amazing! I absolutely HAVE to ask my parents to buy these. Maybe I might finally be able to get my sister into these too . . . Anyways, SO excited for Trial of Magic-it’s gonna be amazing! I know this isn’t exactly relevant to the post, and sort of bragging, but I’m so excited I just have to say!! : I won 1st place in a karate tournament, and the medal is a REAL ninja star!!! I legally own a weapon!! (yes, I know lots of people have weapons, but still! I’m a kid-not a teen or something-and I’m a beginner in karate, so this is huge for me) I’m so tossing it around the backyard 😁!!

Thanks! And yes, I definitely DON’T want to lose them before 24 hours ahahahah So far I made a racket and my parents told me off for scaring my little sister with the pointed edges, and then I tried tossing both ninja stars at once, but nearly cut off my own head . . .But I still love them!

I am so glad that paperbacks have arrived! Especially as the covers are absolutely gorgeous! Great work by entire team! Can’t wait for Trial of Magic!!

Paperback News!

I’ve got some (hopefully) exciting news!

The Court of Midnight and Deception trilogy is now available in paperback–wohoo! As usual a big thanks to Meg for doing all the paperback formatting, and thank you to Covers by Christian for making the covers!


My second piece of paperback news is that the paperback versions of the Timeless Fairy Tale series are finally going to get covers that match the ebooks!

The paperbacks will be the same size, same page count, they’ll just have these new covers!


This is something a bunch of you have been requesting for a long time, and after enough gentle nudges from Meg I decided to give in and get matching covers. These new covers will be going up sometime in summer. (We’re going to throw a massive party to celebrate when Trial of Magic launches, which will include a big sale on the Timeless fairy tales ebooks. The covers will be up and ready to go by then!)


SO, if you want to complete your collection of the current covers, now is the time to buy! Or if you want to get the new covers, hold off on purchasing just a few more months!
