Assigned to a powerful but extremely messy dragon named Azmaveth, Ahira soon makes friends with the magical creatures around her new home. Even cleaning up after Azmaveth and putting up with with his failed magic experiments isn’t too bad, until he forces her to work with his human steward, Kohath.

Kohath is a piece of work. His bossy attitude combined with his lack of personal space makes him the most infuriating male Ahira has ever met. He’s also hiding a huge secret.

But war is looming with the Valkyrie, and not even the dragons are immune to political maneuvering. A surprise betrayal breaks Ahira’s heart and sends her packing back to her old home. If she does nothing she’ll never see Azmaveth, Kohath, or the rest of her magical friends again. Happily ever afters don’t come easy, but this princess just might be willing to fight for hers.

Unlike the King Arthur and Her Knights series, there is no time traveling, but the two series have a similar feel, so if you've read the King Arthur series and liked it you should definitely grab these two books while they are free!

I affectionately call this a Trick or Treat situation because the Robyn Hood books are the second and third books I ever wrote, and even though in 2022 they got an edit to fix them up, the story telling isn’t as sharp as the books I release now. But despite my greener abilities at the time, Champions have assured me they still love them for my trademark humor and strong female characters, so if you haven’t gotten them yet, now is your chance to try them for free! The Gate of Myth and Power series was my chance to write a Hades and Persephone retelling but set it in Magiford with my own special spin (which is why I made it so the male hero doesn't realize he kidnapped the heroine in my version). 🐈‍⬛ Here's the description from book 1 if you want a little more info about the series: I can turn into a housecat. It’s a fun magic, except in a world filled with vampires and werewolves, it doesn’t exactly make me a powerhouse.
