It's December, which means I can officially start the Christmas themed blog posts! And what better way to kick off the season but with the gift of a free book?!? That's right! Between now and December 4th you can get Princess Ahira for free on Amazon, so share the news with anyone you think would enjoy this dragon/princess story!

Princess Ahira book

Get your book gift: Amazon.com | All other Amazon stores Since Princess Ahira is a standalone and not part of a series I don't get a chance to talk about it very much. I'm including the book description below, but I'm curious what the Champions think of this book? (I know many of you have read it since I've made it free before. 😉 ) Do you remember when you first tried this book ? What parts did you liked best? Ahira isn’t a typical princess. When she’s kidnapped by dragons on her sixteenth birthday she declares it the best thing that has ever happened to her. No more etiquette lessons! Assigned to a powerful but extremely messy dragon named Azmaveth, Ahira soon makes friends with the magical creatures around her new home. Even cleaning up after Azmaveth and putting up with with his failed magic experiments isn’t too bad, until he forces her to work with his human steward, Kohath. Kohath is a piece of work. His bossy attitude combined with his lack of personal space makes him the most infuriating male Ahira has ever met. He’s also hiding a huge secret. But war is looming with the Valkyrie, and not even the dragons are immune to political maneuvering. A surprise betrayal breaks Ahira’s heart and sends her packing back to her old home. If she does nothing she’ll never see Azmaveth, Kohath, or the rest of her magical friends again. Happily ever afters don’t come easy, but this princess just might be willing to fight for hers.

Hello, Champions!

We’ve got more books with new covers. First up, Princess Ahira has a new ebook/paperback cover!

Princess Ahira: Amazon.com  |  All other Amazon Stores

I’m pretty stoked about this cover because it has a dragon on it, and Ahira is wearing Azmaveth’s colors! Woohoo for accuracy! This beautiful cover was created by Wesley Souza, the talented artist who also made the new Robyn Hood covers.

The King Arthur three packs and Endings also got new covers–these made by Trif Design, who made the complete series boxset cover, so now the whole series matches!

After going through some hassles with books and files, I decided to pull the individual novella titles of King Arthurs off of Amazon, so now the official series listing includes the first two three packs and Endings, and then of course we still have the complete series boxset. This was done more for a file-sanity reason, and because I’m way more likely to either put the complete series boxset on sale, or the first threepack on sale, so there wasn’t a point in having the novellas. (Particularly because no one was reading those versions anyway.)

Nothing has changed in the books, I just removed the original novellas and swapped it out for the three packs!

And finally one of my oldest series, The M.B.R.C., got a makeover for the individual books and the 3-pack! Now all of them match and the 3-pack has it’s own special image.

Natasha Snow–who also did my Hall of Blood and Mercy covers–recovered this series for me! I love the font she went with–and the colors! Random fact about the M.B.R.C. covers: since the series is set in Chicago I specifically asked Natasha to use the Chicago skyline for the background cityscape! It’s easiest to tell this if you look at the 3-pack cover, since the Willis Tower has such a prominent spot in the background. 🙂

And that’s everything for today! Thanks for reading, Champions, and have a lovely day!

So The Wild Swans has been zipped off to my editor, and I’m too mentally challenged to dive straight into my next book. As a result, Princess Ahira is getting a makeover! My fabulous editor went through and fixed the embarrassing typos and errors, and to celebrate the occasion Myrrhlynn made a new cover.

The new cover has already been posted to Amazon, and I will upload the corrected manuscript this  coming week. Woohoo! Finally, I will leave you with an update on the CHAMPIONS’ CHOICE poll. Remember to vote by April 3!
