Kitty,

I have devoured your Timeless Fairytales. Please tell me you will continue to write to bring us to some type of conclusion.
I love your heroines and their values. I truly have enjoyed all of your characters. Your stories are not a guilty pleasure, but a true pleasure to read.
I haven’t discovered a map anywhere that shows this creative world of yours. Do you have one somewhere? If you don’t, might I suggest someone comes up with one. It would help some of us visually to imagine who lives where.
Thank you again for breathing such life into these tales!

Oh, I enjoyed your video, as well.

Yes!!! I can’t wait for Endings, I’m sure it will be AMAZING!!! I love all of your books, but King Arthur and the Timeless Fairy Tales are my favorites!! Sorry, I use way too many exclamation points. Just wondering, but are you planning on having a book that focuses on Angelique’s story? Because that would be awesome!!

The problem with King Arthurs is that it is enthusastically beloved, so I have to be very careful that I end on the right note…which is difficult as ALL the Arthur legends end in tragedy, which I refuse to allow!
And yes, Angelique is going to get her own book–possibly two. It depends how I can piece everything together! 😀

Happy New Years!
I’m going to be totally honest- I was scared to hit play on the video. The last time I listened to an author I liked, it was not at all what I expected and totally ruined it for me. The author’s real personality and tone was not what one would expect from reading their writing. You however, I LOVED! You give off this great vibe, and are so energetic, just like your writing, IT’S FANTASTIC! I am totally OK with video format. Also I am ready to start talking to people who aren’t there if Endings doesn’t come out soon. I needed that book the second I finished Endings (you know, the day it came out). As long as you promise it will be good, I guess it will be worth the wait.
Hoping for a Fantastic year for all

I had a good–and much needed–laugh at your comment, so thank you for your message! 😀 As I mentioned in the video, I’m really comfortable with you guys so I can be “me.” When I was on my first podcast we also did video, and I looked like a traumatized pigeon. 😉 And I’m about to get cracking on Endings, so fear not!

I like the video format and I hope Endings comes out quickly, I love your King Arthur books the most even if your other books are really great too! 😉

I think Endings will be written quickly, but I’m wary of careening full steam ahead without seeing what anyone thinks of it. (As this is THE END of the series it’s critical to hit it right…or the whole series will be a bust.)

Happy New Year! I loved the video format ☺👌🏻 I too make interesting expressions when speaking (something my friends always tease me about). It felt more personal than your blog posts (which are still personal just the video felt more so). And I’m so excited about the new King Arthur book! Good luck! I can’t wait 😁

Hahah, just wait until I bust out the sound effects! My entire family uses gestures and sound effects when telling stories. It’s something we get flack for, but it does make for a more interesting tale! 😉

I like both formats for the fairy tales. A longer book is great, and two books is great. I’ll be a happy camper either way. Good for you for getting together with other authors. I think it is a good idea. As for the video format, I definitely understand about getting tired of typing. Personally, I like reading the blog posts, but I’m fine with a video. (Again: happy camper.) Anyway, happy New Year!

Thanks for the feedback! 😀 The video was fun, so I think its something I’ll continue in the future, but I’ll probably limit it to once or twice a month as I do enjoy penning my blog posts as well! 😀 (Plus I can’t include surveys and such in video posts, which is a downer.)

I like this video format. If it is easier for you to do updates this way definitely give it a go :). I hope you have a wonderful New Year, and your thoughts keep flowing into 2017! Huge thank you from me for all the wonderful stories you have put out his year (including the side stories!!!).

(P.S. I actually fist-pumped when you announced King Arthur. However, my sister looked at me like I was a crazy person…..which is true.)

Thank you for your encouragement!

I’ve been digging out all my King Arthurs reference books, and I re-read the first books in the series and got my computer all ready for new story, so it’s time has arrived! 😀

You’re not alone – my sister now officially thinks I’m insane after giggling and getting super excited when reading. And only Kitty’s books make me get REALLY excited… especially the King Arthur ones.
Although Life Reader is still my favourite.
Thank you soooo much for writing amazing stories and sharing them with us all!

Lol, that’s awesome! (I love Life Reader too! The Director was pretty much a wish fulfillment character for me because in the first draft there was no one to put Daire in his place. Buwahahah, oh how the tables have turned.)

Lol! I am quite sure my parents thought I was mentally unstable for a few years because I would giggle hysterically, or actually talk to my books. I mean what’s more therapeutic than getting mad an a literary bad guy? Or telling the main Hero he’s being an idiot (cough, cough Steffen). Many people think I’m crazy, glad to know I’m not the only one.

Absolutely not! I do this too!!

AND when they catch you giggling in the middle of the night.
(busted) I’m glad I’m not the only one, since all my friends are movie watchers. 😀

Hi! Happy New Year! I like your idea a lot because you are the first indie author I have actually seen via video talk and you sound like a really nice person! (I kinda thought you were anyway but whatever!) I really like your books especially the King Arthur series and the Timeless Fairy Tales. So, thanks for creating great books!

Aww, thanks Amanda! 🙂 The video was a fun change of pace, so I think I’m going to do it again in the future. (Maybe once a month or something?)

No – she was like the nanny of the group. There were other adults in the pasture, but all the calfs stayed close to this one… not sure why – maybe she gives chocolate milk

I liked the video format – to provide at least one answer your question 😉
Really excited about the Arthur book as well, and hope the writing goes well. Happy New Year!

2016 Reflection

Happy New Year, Champions! I thought I would mix things up and make today’s blog post into a video. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for listening, Champions, and have a wonderful last night of 2016 and a lovely first day of 2017!
