🙁 Don’t think it helped his case with Gemma to be so distraught, though. I’m sure she’d laugh at him for that. 🙂

I was a little worried that my question wouldn’t get answered, but save the best for last, right? 😉 I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Especially Stil, and Emrys, and Farrin, and Friedrich. And the black cat, as well! So fun, thanks a million!

P.S. Why is Farrin so enigmatic, though?

He’s not really enigmatic, it’s more that he’s not huge on talking, but Rakel can easily pull him out of that, so in all of their scenes together he’s more communicative. (If you go through and read the scenes where he isn’t with Rakel, he’s usually the Point-of-view character. So even though he doesn’t talk much in those scenes it still feels like he is because you get to hear his thoughts.)

Ahhhg this is too much! I laughed so loud and my friends kept asking me what was so funny. Farrin is my favorite hero, I loved how you portrayed him in this interview. Although I do wish he answered the question about Phil’s thieves guild…

And I’m glad you enjoyed Farrin. I was tempted to give him a kick in the pants–he’s much less talkative and active when Rakel isn’t around. (And I mean that as a writing process, too. I had a bugger of a time getting him to actually TALK in the scenes where he doesn’t appear with Rakel.)

I loved the interview and how everyone was able to poke at each other. I do however have a random question not related to the interview. Have you considered doing a frog princess story? I know I could be considered similar to the frog prince, but considering you’ve already done two different swan stories I just had to ask.

At this point, probably not…but it’s mostly because there’s a huge list of fairy tales I’m already dying to explore once this current arch is tied up. (Snow White is the last one, and then the series will tie up with Angelique’s books!)

2018 Hero Interview

Greetings, Champions! I’m going to keep this short and sweet and cut to what you most want to hear, the interview with Merlin, Emerys, Friedrich, and Farrin is finished!

I hope it makes you laugh! I had a lot of fun going through your questions and sorting out what the boys would say. It was a lot of fun, and hopefully we can do it again in the future!


Also, a big thank you to everyone who submitted questions and/or voted in the polls! It’s a lot of fun to do this, and it’s really interesting to see slight changes as time passes. (I wasn’t sure anyone would ever rip Rumpelstiltskin from his top place!)
