I love Aysel, but I think his role as the Son of the Administrator for the MBRC ( I mean his the successor Asahi doesn’t cut it) won’t let him think of Morgan as The Girlfriend, also he has a lot of pride, so I don’t see him allowing himself to fall for Morgan… to him she’s just a mortal..
Devin I think has fallen for Morgan hard and hes scared, he’s in his early twenties and she’s in high school, so he’s intimidated, doesn’t know how to act around her or what to do about his attraction, she’s was too young…also he’s use to have the women falling for him, just like Aysel, so he doesn’t know how to court her… but I think he will grow in the next book and he is the one that I think is the one Morgan will end with.. Hes the logical one… and he said he was in love with her in the first book…
Hunter I think just fells lonely, that’s why he wants Morgan, because shes one of the few people who remembers him and he can’t persuade…
Sorry for the looooong comment got carried away…..

Good character analysis – I like this! I hadn’t thought of these aspects of Devin’s and Hunter’s personalities. That is a particularly resonant explanation for Hunter’s behavior – lonely people can do some completely irrational things – but I still don’t think it really excuses it. Although I suppose a goblin would laugh at the idea of being bound by human codes of conduct …
