Oh please let it be 2017. Oh please let it be 2017. Oh please let it be 2017! Begging aside, I can’t wait to read your versions of the 12 Dancing Princesses (again, one of my favorite stories. Right now, since I don’t have yours to read yet, my favorite version of this tale is from Jessica Day George, Princess of the Midnight Ball.) and your Snow White story. A classic if ever there was one. Thanks for the update. While I love all your stories and am anxious for the sequels to the other books, (Red Rope of Fate, Life Reader, Princess Ahira, etc.) I’m most anxious for the final tales in the Timeless Fairy Tales. Thanks for all your brilliant and fun stories that are so easy to enjoy over, and over, and over… 🙂

I’ve been looking forward to 12 Dancing Princess for a while, too! I’ve always enjoyed it too–the ridiculousness of the original fairy tale reminds me a bit of Rumpelstiltskin, so I’m soooo looking forward to getting my dirty little paws over it. Buwahah!
Speaking of 12 Dancing Princess Retellings, though, I love the Princess Curse by Merrie Haskell–though I do feel like she could (and SHOULD) write a sequel to it! 😀
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! (And whatever other book I end up writing this year–whether its the secret fairy tale or Red Rope of Fate’s sequel!)

I just finished The Princess Curse on your recommendation, and man alive was that a good story. Totally agree that she needs to write a sequal!

Oooohhh, I’m glad you liked it! It’s the first retelling of the 12 Dancing Princesses I’ve read where the main character is not one of the princesses. Merrie Haskell has some other excellent fairy tale retellings…but the Princess Curse is by far my favorite. (Myrrhlynn, my cover artist, loves her “Handbook for Dragon Slayers” story the most, though, so that one is worth checking out as well.)

I LOVED reading The Princess Curse! It’s one of my favorite retellings (so far, once yours is out, I’m sure The Princess Curse will be my second fav.)

“I’m so excited… New. Books.”

I dunno…Princess Curse is by far my favorite of the 12 Dancing Princess so I don’t really know if I can do something better. O_O That being said, I’m certain you’ll see its influence in my story as I have also chosen to have my main character NOT be one of the princesses.
