Just made my way through your Timeless series and I’m so anxious for the 12DP! Love it!

While I can’t wait for your Next Fairy Tale book, I would really love to see the sequel to Life Reader! It’s one of my favorites!

Yes! I second that!

Oh please let it be 2017. Oh please let it be 2017. Oh please let it be 2017! Begging aside, I can’t wait to read your versions of the 12 Dancing Princesses (again, one of my favorite stories. Right now, since I don’t have yours to read yet, my favorite version of this tale is from Jessica Day George, Princess of the Midnight Ball.) and your Snow White story. A classic if ever there was one. Thanks for the update. While I love all your stories and am anxious for the sequels to the other books, (Red Rope of Fate, Life Reader, Princess Ahira, etc.) I’m most anxious for the final tales in the Timeless Fairy Tales. Thanks for all your brilliant and fun stories that are so easy to enjoy over, and over, and over… 🙂

I’ve been looking forward to 12 Dancing Princess for a while, too! I’ve always enjoyed it too–the ridiculousness of the original fairy tale reminds me a bit of Rumpelstiltskin, so I’m soooo looking forward to getting my dirty little paws over it. Buwahah!
Speaking of 12 Dancing Princess Retellings, though, I love the Princess Curse by Merrie Haskell–though I do feel like she could (and SHOULD) write a sequel to it! 😀

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! (And whatever other book I end up writing this year–whether its the secret fairy tale or Red Rope of Fate’s sequel!)

I just finished The Princess Curse on your recommendation, and man alive was that a good story. Totally agree that she needs to write a sequal!

Oooohhh, I’m glad you liked it! It’s the first retelling of the 12 Dancing Princesses I’ve read where the main character is not one of the princesses. Merrie Haskell has some other excellent fairy tale retellings…but the Princess Curse is by far my favorite. (Myrrhlynn, my cover artist, loves her “Handbook for Dragon Slayers” story the most, though, so that one is worth checking out as well.)

I LOVED reading The Princess Curse! It’s one of my favorite retellings (so far, once yours is out, I’m sure The Princess Curse will be my second fav.)

“I’m so excited… New. Books.”

I dunno…Princess Curse is by far my favorite of the 12 Dancing Princess so I don’t really know if I can do something better. O_O That being said, I’m certain you’ll see its influence in my story as I have also chosen to have my main character NOT be one of the princesses.

This post made me very happy!!!! 🙂
I do have a non-Timeless Fairy Tales related question: the sequel to Red Rope of Fate…when is it coming out? (Your website says 2017?!?!)

It depends on that secret fairy tale I mentioned in my post. Or rather, it depends on which I feel like writing more: that fairy tale, or a book that returns to Red Rope’s world! 😉 Soooo basically it means I don’t know yet. I’ll probably decide late this summer and make the announcement then. (I’m trying not to box myself in and make premature announcements that end up disappointing everyone. But either way, both books will be written.)

Okay, I have to say, I love Red Rope of Fate, but I’m even more excited for your Timeless Fairy Tales. 🙂

Hahah, I’m glad you like them so much! The Timeless Fairy Tales are more epic versus the Red Rope of Fate book (And the untitled sequel) are more about me being evil and dabbling in the love lives of humans and elves. Buwahaha! 😉

Fairy Tale Updates

Good day to you Champions!

I’ve had quite a few questions over the past week from readers who are worried that the Timeless Fairy Tales series is over. Allow me to reassure you, it isn’t! This December you will for certain get a Timeless Fairy Tale–most likely 12 Dancing Princesses. Then 2018 will bring my rendition of Snow White!

In the meanwhile, I’ve got some changes going on behind the scenes so I’m a bit swamped at the moment–for instance I’m switching over newsletter providers in the next month so my newsletter will have a new layout…which is both a giant headache and super exciting. Thankfully, an assistant has recently joined my team! She’s a real hoot and I can’t wait to introduce you to her. She’s going to help me tackle my email as I’ve been unable to keep up with it and my writing for the past month. She’s already been helping me organize my book numbers–she’s a number genius–so I’m really happy I get to yank her into our community to join in our fun!

That’s it for today, Champions! Next month I’ll finally be reviewing the winter Hero Poll, and hopefully launch the Favorite Heroine Poll. 😉
