If you’ve stuck around the community for a while, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that I love holidays. Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween–I love them ALL! But my favorite holiday of all is Christmas!
I love everything about Christmas, and I try to enjoy every day of holiday season, so each year I throw a big celebrational bash and give away books and try to have a lot of fun! This year it’s going to be a tad different–in between all of my Christmas memes we’re still celebrating the launch of the Court of Midnight and Deception series, and Crown of Moonlight drops on the 18th. But I still wanted sprinkle my regular Christmas fun, so here is the schedule of freebies for December 2020!

In January the Hall of Blood and Mercy series will be on sale to celebrate Court of Midnight and Deception’s completion, which technically is after the holiday season buuuuuuuuuuut you guys should know by now I’m not a stickler for rules! 😉
For actual events, we have the annual Kinniversary Event for our Lord of the Rings Online kinship! This year the event is this Friday, December 4th, at 8 pm central time on the Landroval server of Lord of the Rings online. There will be games and prizes, but in order for you to participate you’ll need a character (on the Landroval server) who is out of the starting zone of the game, so join Lotro ASAP if you intend to attend! You can visit the Lotro channel on our Community Discord Sever for more info!
I’m also going to have my annual Christmas Facebook Live event on my KM Shea author page! This time instead of putting together a gingerbread house, I have a little arts and crafts foam mountain thingie. (I have no better way to describe this, so if you’re intrigued drop by to watch!) The Facebook Live session will be Wednesday, December 16th, at 7 pm central time. I’ll put up a post in advance for you to ask your questions on, but Vin will be hanging out with me and organizing the questions while the event is going on, so you can submit questions during the live event, too!
I’m also doing some fun themed posts on a weekly basis over on both my KM Shea and my AM Sohma Facebook pages–we’re going to discuss our favorite Christmas movies on KM Shea and our favorite holiday/winter video game levels on AM Sohma. Bonus, I have a few special treats tucked up my sleeve–stay tuned Sohma fans–but that’s the plan for the month! And all of this in addition to the launch fun for Court of Midnight and Deception!
