It was so much fun to see Teara’s perspective of Kit. I mean, we see Kit’s view of herself, and Miles’s perspective of her at points, but it was fun to hear it from a new point of view.

Happy Valentines Day Kitty, and thankful you for the Retha Short Story. I always enjoy the addition development of your stories that the shorts give, even though they are not usually central to the stories. They help me get to know the characters better and you have such awesome characters that they are worth getting to know.

I have to agree with Arletta; thank you for the shorts. They help us get to know wonderful characters, who are well worth the trouble to get to know. I also have to tell you that my son loves Retha and he can’t wait to get the next Retha book, so this short will help satiate his hunger. (He has read all of the Retha books about 4 times, just this past year.)
I’m also really looking forward to your next series being released in two weeks. I can’t believe it: TWO WEEKS! That is much sooner than I ever expected to get another great read! Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day, Champions! We’re taking a break from all the Hall of Blood & Mercy news in honor of this special occasion.


Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays ever. An entire day devoted to giving out chocolate so I can let people know just how much they mean to me? Sign me up!


Since I’m so thankful for all of you Champions–for your support, for the kindness of our community, and that you’re all willing to join me in this crazy adventure–I wanted to give you a Valentine’s Day gift, too!
