I’m super excited for 12 Dancing Princesses and have no problem with the length! It means more enjoyment!
Also, have you ever considered writing more of the Magical Creatures series too?
Thanks for creating such fun characters we love!

I hope you enjoy it! Won’t be long now–about a week until Twelve Dancing Princesses goes up! 😀

As for more of the MBRC, I think it’s safe to say that yes there will be one day, but it probably won’t be until after the year 2020. (I’m trying to focus on finish up this arc in the Timeless Fairy Tale word, and I also want to close up my Second Age of Retha series over on my pen name.)

Thank you for the sample! I’m so glad we seem to be getting to know more about the elves; I’ve been very curious about them for quite a while now.

Merry Christmas! (Hey, we still have five more days left, so this technically isn’t late). Thank you, thank you, thank you for the sneak peek!!! You just made me very very happy. 🙂

Merry Christmas, Kitty.

I have a quick question for you regarding The Frog Prince. When did Elle knock out Severin, and tie him up so he had to listen to her, and what was the topic and why was it so important that she had to take such extreme measures, and why wouldn’t Severin listen in the first place?

Ok, so that was several questions, but I’m re-reading The Frog Prince for Christmas (something I get to enjoy, instead of something I have to read) and I came across the part where Elle gives Ariane advice about how to deal with Luciene and I wondered if she was speaking from experience.

Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas!

Let’s just say…Elle and Severin aren’t quite as good at communicating as Ariane and Lucien are. (At least not initially.) And as Elle isn’t exactly the type to sit around in the chateau and let herself be pampered, but Severin is NOT a fan of her risking her neck, it led to several interesting…discussions. 😉

So nothing specific to The Timeless Fairey Tale plot. Ok, I just thought I’d check to be sure.

Happy New Year!!! 🎊🎉

Oooo. Very, very nice. I knew you were my favorite fairy tale reseller for a reason! Can’t wait now until the Twelve Dancing Princesses comes out!

I hope you like it! 😉 I put a few different twists on it to get the story to fit into the Timeless Fairy Tale world, but I am SO looking forward to sharing it with you!

All I want for Christmas is a sequel to Life Reader (hint hint for 2018!!) 😅😬🙏

Lol, not very likely for 2018–I already have a pretty stiff schedule–but I DO have some wiggle room in 2019 so you never know! 😉

Merry Christmas Kitty!! I’m so excited that King Arthur and MBRC books are going to be in print!!! They are my favorite books! Will the short stories be included at the end of the King Arthur books?

Kitty

Thank you, Lizzie! I’m happy to say most of the short stories made it into the King Arthurs books. Endings only had room for one, though, so I included the short where the knights crash Britt’s and Merlin’s date night and had to cut the short story that shows how Mordred is doing back in Camelot. 🙁

Merry Christmas – Kitty,
Your new book sounds really exiciting. Looking forward to reading it!
Have a Happy New – thank you for all the great stories. Try to get some rest, too. I know – easy to say, but hard to do.

Merry Christmas, Kitty! Thank you for the sample! And I’m excited about the extended length of this book, even if it pushed back its release date! I’m guessing that means more depth with the characters! n.n (Also… The fact that this story is about /twelve/ princesses, and then that sample scene lets us know that there’s an entirely different group of people playing a central role… Well, I can understand that the book would need to be longer to give everyone a reasonable amount of screen time. xD)

You nailed it! Whenever those twelve princesses show up the scenes get longer because I need to let them all talk! I did decide to go the non-traditional route and make the main character a soldier rather than one of the princesses. (In the original tale a soldier actually is the main character, but most retellings with heroines as the main protagonists tend to keep with the tradition of following a princess.) 😉 Hopefully you’ll like the rest of the secondary characters–they are a blast!

Good Morning Kitty, Ironically, I love ALL cats, especially…..My MINI MAY!! I recently lost, as in died -and traveled over the rainbow bridge, My belove-ed, KIT. I actually, upon discoverying him, howled like a wolf, that GOD, the FATHER, SON AND the HOLY SPIRIT AND ALL THE MANY CITIZENS OF THE HEAVENS wept.
All is well now and I am enjoying life thru many different and fun ways with my handsome husband Bill, (Will).
So, I wanted to congratulate you on your many varied stories, novels and more. Keep up the great work, but-please, for me, pace yourself, even for a little moment or 2. I know how hard this for you. Although I am not an author – I am a retired professional.
I am looking forward to the 12 Dancing Princesses and then a (small) break for you, if possible.
All is well! Have fun at whatever you choose and enjoy! Gail

I’m so sorry to hear that, Gail. 🙁 Losing a pet is always really hard, and very emotional.
And thank you for encouraging me to take a break! Once 12 Dancing Princesses is launched I am actually taking a two week vacation. As you said, I need a moment to stop and BREATHE! Hopefully when I get back I will be ready to rip and pounce on the new stories! 😀

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Champions!

I’ll confess and say I’m a little sad, I usually like to post a freebie as a Christmas treat–or at least have some free books. This year I wasn’t able to get around to it, because Twelve Dancing Princesses has run my life for the last month. It’s a massive 80,000 words–the longest of any fairy tale I’ve written thus far–and that length was unexpected on my end so the book took much longer than I planned.

Unfortunately, we got stalled with some hiccups in getting books into print, but I’m hoping that by March all the King Arthur books and MBRC books will be available in print as well!

But, on the bright side we’re going to celebrate Christmas in January! There will be free books, giveaways, and I’m hoping to launch Twelve Dancing Princesses by mid January, which of course means another round of freebies!

Additionally, in January I’m going to announce a very special project I’ve been working on with some other authors, so it will hopefully be a fun start to 2018!

Finally…I do have one little Christmas gift for you all, the first few pages of Twelve Dancing Princesses. (WARNING: These are unedited pages, so there will be errors!) Click Here to see the sample!

Thanks for reading, Champions. I hope you like the sample, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
