Robin Hood Retellings

I have a tradition of offering my Robyn Hood series free for Halloween, which means you only have one more week to wait before you can add both of these books to your library for free!

But while we wait here's a list of the other Robin Hood retellings the Champions have enjoyed! (Thanks to the Facebook Group Champions for helping me with this!)

List of Robin Hood Retellings

Robyn Hood: A Girl's Tale (and Fight For Freedom) - These are my retellings where I reimagined the traditional legends if "Robin Hood" was actually a girl named "Robyn" who got roped into the role of outlaw by her friends and her compassion for the villagers.

The Wicked Prince by Celeste Baxendell - I'm calling out this book specifically because it was the most popular suggestion from the Facebook Group and many mentioned it is their favorite Robin Hood retelling!

The Outlaws of Sherwood - Robin McKinley

Marian and the Elf - Anabelle Raven

Crown Duel - Sherwood Smith

Robin: Lady of Legend - R.M. Arcejaeger

Hood - Stephen R Lawhead

Scarlet - Stephen R Lawhead

Tuck - Stephen R Lawhead

Rowan Hood - Nancy Springer

The Masked Fae - Shari L Tapscott

The Swindler's Daughter - Annette K Larsen

Dauntless - Dina L Sleiman

Mercury Rises - Scarlett Kol

Hawksmaid - Kathryn Lasky

A Daring Sacrifice - Jody Hedlund

Ilyon Chronicles - Jaye L Knight

A Bird in the Snow - MC Kennedy

Protecting the Poor - Amanda Tero

Honor: A Quest In - Kendra E Ardnek

By Wingéd Chair - Kendra Merritt

Robin Hood - Henry Gilbert

Sherwood - Meagan Spooner

Scarlet - A. C. Gaughen

Arrows and Gems - Erin Halbmaier

The Hood - Frost Kay

Did we miss any that you've enjoyed (no spice retellings only)? I will also add these books to a new section on my Pinterest board and I'm happy to add more if you have additional suggestions!

The Wicked Prince surprised me with how good it was. Celeste Baxendell did a great job with the characterization of both Robin and Prince John. Definitely worth a read, in my opinion.
