If my writing remains on schedule, I should be able to finish King Arthur this year, in a final full length novel that will come out in the fall! 🙂 (It’s proving to be a bigger story than I thought, hence the delayed timelines.)

Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely loved this book! I could hardly put it down ? I grew up watching the Swan Lake cartoon, so I was pretty set against Rothbart from the start, BUT I really enjoyed your portrayal of his character.

Alexsei and Odette were wonderfully written and set apart from the other protagonists of your books (every single one is unique and I just love that!) and Dima was very endearing.

Yaaay! I’m so glad! I ADORED the Swan Princess movies as a kid, which gave me a goal because I knew it was possible to make it into a funny and interesting story, but it also gave me a challenge because I knew I needed to make my story different from it. Anyway, I’m specifically happy you liked the main characters. It’s my goal to make each couple stand out from the others, but it’s a little nerve-wracking to try and pull it off! 😉

Swan Lake is so exciting! I just finished it, and I love it! (Sorry if I sound like I’m crazy, but the book was great!) 🙂 Odette was a fun character, Alexsei was so sweet, Yakov was Yakov, Odile was good, and Rothbart…. seemed awful, but really came through in the end. 🙂 Anyway, I have my newest favorite Timeless Fairytale Book. I’ll be reviewing!

I’m so glad you liked it that much! Odette was a blast to write because her being a leader let me bring out a lot of different angles to her character. I was a little worried about Alexsei–I needed to make him sweet but neither plastic nor passive–so I’m REALLY glad you liked him as well. Thanks for reviewing! 🙂

Ahahah, yes, I have played around with the idea of releasing Friday nights, but to be honest Thursday releases are the easiest to work through with Amazon. (I think fewer people release books then or something.) Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it!

That’s great to hear! Yes, I really had fun with Alexsei’s family. I consider Swan Lake my “Happy Family” book because for once EVERYONE is alive and content! (And both Benno and Yakov appear in future freebies!)

I did! It was beautifully written, the story was captivating, and the characters were so lovable! I really enjoyed the interactions between Yakov and Benno. I hope they will be in one of the freebies. 🙂

Swan Lake is Launched!

The wait is over, Swan Lake has arrived!

I can’t wait to hear your reactions! The book is a little shorter compared to the likes of the Snow Queen series, but so much happens in it so it feels a more intense/adventuresome than some of my other fairy tales. (Yes, I’m looking at you, Beauty and the Beast.) I’m not going to talk about it much because I know only a few of you have had a chance to read it, but I still have a few things I wanted to cover.

This is just a reminder that I do keep an eye on the reviews for feedback. I have particular stories I want to write, but you guys do influence the way I tell them, so thanks in advance to everyone who reviews!

Also, I’ve updated the Timeless Fairy Tales Timeline, adding in events from Swan Lake. Caution: The timeline contains spoilers for several fairy tales! If you haven’t read all the fairy tales you might not wish to view the timeline.

Remember to mark your calendars for June 19 and 20, when Wild Swans will be free to celebrate Father’s Day and the first day of summer.
