I am so excited for Pip’s adventure. I already know it is going to be great! I only joined you and the champions recently but I’m already getting so excited for the next books. Your writing is amazing Kitty!

HAH, I KNEW IT WOULD BE PIP! ! So I had been suspecting Pip of being the new heroine since Kitty gave us a hint that there will be more series, but I was NOT expectingthat she would be a werewolf hunter! Anyways I am really excited for the the Trail of Magic, Really really REALLY hoping that Angelique manages to free Evariste in the book and we are not left with a cliffhanger! I can’t believe myself that sometime 6 to 7 months ago I was wondering whether to order the first book of The Fairy Tale Enchantress or some other book on my kindle, and had only taken it because Hall of Blood and Mercy had been so completely amazing!( it was the only series I had read till that time written by Kitty) and I had really wanted the student enchantress to fall in love with her master! Now I am waiting like crazy for the 4th book and I love the series for a thousand more reasons!😁🤩

If you read Snow White it is set after book 3 and Angelique is in the whole thing. In top of that it’s a wonderful book and super funny. I rereading it now but it’s bad to read after everyone is asleep because I laugh too much!

She will fall for him eventually . . . but in the meantime, evariste’s love for angel is adorable enough (for now). Can’t wait!

So…Pip can turn around into a cat?

Kitty

March 26, 2021 at 01:29 AM UTC

Nope! 😉 Cat girl is the heroine of the 2023 series–the one that will pick up the Paragon’s quest-y-thing.

Pip’s series is a bit of a spin off–it doesn’t deal with the person the Paragon is looking for, but it fills you in a bit on what’s going on with other supernaturals.

The cat might be an elf??? Could the Paragon be on a quest to round up the elves and use them to repopulate the elves and keep the magic from dying?? Could he be hunting the cat, who unknowingly has the power to restore magic/the elves?? Haha, sorry- im obsessed with elves right now. Hopefully it will pass within the week.

I think Kitty is trying to hint that “Cat Girl” is Aphrodite. But I could be wrong.

I don’t think that’s what she meant. The cat they were referencing was the black cat that attacks Killian and that Lord Iason tried to catch. As that cat has fur, I don’t think it’s Aphrodite

That makes sense and I remember it now. Thanks!

That’s what I was thinking!!

In the last book of Leila’s trilogy, she talks with some of her nobles about a black cat both of them are trying to catch for Pet Appreciation Day. In the Parent’s Night short, Lord Iason mentions that he’s giving up trying to catch the cat and wants to get a different pet. In the House Medeis short, House Medeis drops a black cat on Killian while he’s locked in the basement. The black cat best matches the clues we were given on the last blog post.

Aphrodite could be a person?? If that’s it, that explains why The Paragon is so . . . affectionate with her. Wonder if he knows and they are a /destined to be a couple??

. . . I just noticed what it says my name is, and that was on accident!! Also, I feel sort of awkward/feel like a stalker overhearing something I shouldn’t posting this, but . . . What does Aphrodite think about what the Paragon says about why he named her Aphrodite??

Thank you for confirming our suspicions about the next trilogy, both Hall of Blood and Mercy and Court of Midnight and Deception were fantastic series. I’m excited and I can’t wait to see what really long trilogy name you’re going to come up with for your next set!

I got this from someone in Kitty’s discord group (and full credit goes to whoever that was, I can’t remember), but I definitely hope the title is “Place of This and That” to keep up the theme we have going lol!

Ananya

Maybe Hunt of Moonlight and monsters? Though it’s not fair to call them monsters. Maybe Hunt of moonlight and mystery?

It could be something like “Pack of Hunters and Howls” or “Pack of Hounds and Hunters”? Maybe 🤔

Kitty

March 26, 2021 at 01:34 AM UTC

HAHAHAH yeah I have no idea what we can do with this one. Maybe “Wolves and also Hunter of Howls and Yowls”???

I am almost 100% certain I’m going to insist on one word titles for the books at least. I am SO OVER forever mixing up the book titles, we’ve gotta go easy on this one!

Oooooh!!! This is going to be an awesome trilogy!!! I already can’t wait for 2022!! Also I am beyond excited for the next Angel book!! Angel and Evariste are an amazing couple who isn’t exactly a couple. I really hope she frees him in this next book… and according to the timeline she should! (I think)

Kitty

😉 😉 😉 Weelllllllllllllllllllll I’m not saying it’s a spoiler….but this book gets us 100% caught up on the Timeless Fairy Tale timeline! 😉

Yes! I really need to see her free Evariste. And she is so alone I really wanted her to have that time with Quinn helping her look.

Joytoucanette

April 06, 2021 at 05:00 PM UTC

Yes same! Having her adventure with Quinn is the only time other than that she is with Snow White when she is properly not alone. But Snow White didn’t even know what was going on with Angel anyway so it would be amazing for Angel to not be alone for some time at least with Quinn in ToM.

And maybe goes a teensy bit beyond? 😀 Pretty please?!

Ananya

March 27, 2021 at 01:40 AM UTC

I’m pretty sure it goes a bit after-in RoM 2 1/2 (i think?) TFT books were covered, and in CoM 5 1/2 ( I think?). Based on that, in ToM, the other two TFT books plus some uncharted territory should be covered.

YES!! I think in the couple interview from summer last year, Angelique mentioned she was excited to go adventuring with Quinn in her next book. So hopefully, we should see a free Evariste in the next book (depends though on how longs the situation with Quinn and Emerys will take though).

The next urban fantasy trilogy!

Today I’m officially revealing the main character and setting of the next Magiford Supernatural City series! The important thing to know is that we’re going to visit werewolves!

Yes, that’s right! As many of you guessed, the next trilogy will feature the Northern Lakes werewolf pack–that’s the werewolf pack Chase Washington from Court of Midnight and Deception is a part of!

The series will follow the shenanigans of Phillipa “Pip” and the pack alpha, Greyson. Greyson is obviously a werewolf, but Pip is human! Or, more correctly, she’s a sort of sub-version of a wizard as she is, in fact, a werewolf hunter!

Yep, a werewolf hunter living with a pack of wolves–that should be fun to read about!

Werewolf hunters lack the elemental magic regular wizards have, but Pip get’s some pretty fun trade offs and some specialty strands of magics that wizards don’t have. Which is good for her–she needs every advantage she can get when it comes to surviving with the werewolves!

You can count on seeing Chase in this trilogy, and a few other familiar faces from Court of Midnight and Deception! And while Pip and the werewolves live in northern Wisconsin, they will frequently come to Magiford. They live in a cute little tourist town–which, surprise, has a mini golf course–and as of now I’m planning to have Pip work in the town’s welcome center…which should provide buckets of fun given the wide variety of supernaturals that come to visit!

This trilogy will hopefully launch in early 2022, if this year goes according to plan. I don’t have a working series title or any book titles, but I’ll be sure to update you Champions later in the year once everything is settled.

And this draws an end to the Magiford themed posts. Right now I’m hard at work on Angelique, but I’ve got some sales and other stuff up my sleeve to help you wait it out. Thanks for reading, Champion! Have a lovely week, and I hope you enjoyed our visit to Magiford! 😉
