I had a lot of fun writing this book, actually! It was the break I badly needed after the difficulty that was “Reign of Magic.”

Kitty, you need to take good care of yourself, so that you can live forever! All these different books that have a series that I am waiting for the rest of to be completed…(Angelique, Retha, Elves of Lessa-ahhhhhh- I guess that I better live forever too!) And now a new one?!? Doesn’t matter! I love EVERYTHING that you write, so I will have to learn to live with my anticipation.

I hope this book was fun for you to create, Kitty, and you were able to use it as a way to rest from RoM. I, too, am just going to have to live forever in order to enjoy all your work because you’re the best!

It honestly was my saving grace the past few months. 🙂 I’m going to make a blog post about it soon, but once this is all over I’m hoping to write #3 of the Elves of Lessa, and I think after that I’ll be ready to face Angelique again!

I’ve delighted in the agony of your ignorance about February 28th long enough. It’s time to reveal what’s coming.



AN EBOOK! That’s right, you’re getting a brand new ebook and February 28th! What’s the title? The genre? The cover! I’m so glad you asked, it’s–HAH!! NOT TELLING YET!!


Before I run off cackling into the sunset, I’ll confirm that this book is the super secret project I’ve mentioned in a few places that I’ve been working on, and over the next few days and weeks I’ll slowly be doing a cover reveal and dropping various hints and teasers about the book genre and story. 😀 (Although I will confirm right now it’s an entirely new story world, this doesn’t build off any existing Shea/Sohma series or worlds. I’ll talk about why in future posts as well.)
